New dates for OperaWine and VIA Verona edition revealed

Vinitaly 2020 has been postponed to June as have OperaWine and the next edition of the Vinitaly International Academy Ambassador course. The decision has been taken by Veronafiere’s Board of Directors to ensure maximum safety for all participants.

On March 3rd, Veronafiere officially postponed Vinitaly, Enolitech and Sol&Agrifood to June 14- 17, 2020. Event organizer Veronafiere took this decision in light of the current international situation and in order to ensure the highest possible standards for both exhibitors and visitors. For consistency, other Vinitaly-related gatherings have been moved too. OperaWine, Vinitaly’s exclusive opening organized in collaboration with Wine Spectator will be held on June 13; while the Verona edition of the Vinitaly International Academy will take place from June 8 to 12.

Both OperaWine and VIA are part of the “Vinitaly Marathon”, a thirteen-day endurance run set up by Vinitaly International concomitantly with the biggest Italian wine fair in the world. The marathon usually starts with the VIA Italian Wine Ambassador course, a full immersion into Italian wine culture created for international wine professionals aimed at spreading the gospel of Italian wine through world class education.
